Over the past 25 years we have used our experience to develop the complete service that our clients need. By focusing on customer satisfaction, Classic Rare Books has become one of the leading suppliers of books, antiquarian and modern. We deal with clients worldwide and take pride in the amount of repeat business we do. We are very aware that our reputation relies not only on the quality of the books that we supply, but also on the strength of our service.
What is the Service?
Our aim is to take the hassle out of buying and collecting books. Whether the client is buying for themselves or on behalf of their client, we approach a project from the client's input and work from their perspecive. Whatever the size of the project, our varied stock range ensures that we can meet expectations.
How does it work?
Once we have established shelf dimensions and capacity we can calculate the numbers and the sizes of books required. Giving careful consideration to the client's choice on subject matter and period of the books and the colour and style of the bindings, we can then propose our recommendations. These will be based on our experience, but above all tailored to provide the client with the books that suit them and their budget.
As we regularly ship internationally we are able to arrange and advise on delivery anywhere in the world.
We are members in good standing of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA) of Great Britain, and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB). We observe the highest professional and ethical standards, and abide by the ABA Code of Good Practice.
